AI frameworks and agent build

Frameworks, not products. AI systems built around how you work

Off-the-shelf AI products force your business into their shape. We bring proven architectures, retrieval over your own knowledge, agents with tools, confidence scoring, human escalation, evaluation harnesses, and our engineers tailor them to your systems in weeks.

Why frameworks

Tailored, fast, and yours

A framework is a working architecture we have built and run before, with the hard parts solved: how documents and code are parsed and indexed, how retrieval is grounded and cited, how an agent plans and uses tools, how its confidence is scored, when it hands over to a person, and how it is evaluated on every change. What changes from client to client is the knowledge it reads, the systems it connects to, the thresholds, and the workflow it sits in.

That is why we can deliver in weeks rather than quarters, and why the result fits your business instead of asking your business to fit it. The code is yours: no licence, no per-seat product fee, and a handover or a managed service at the end, whichever you prefer.

Eight frameworks

What we build

From the assistants most businesses start with to the specialised agents built on the same foundations. Every one is tailored to your systems; the code is yours.

  • Knowledge assistants

Grounded assistants that answer only from cited, approved sources: policies, procedures, technical manuals, contracts. Retrieval and GraphRAG pipelines with citation enforcement and access control.

  • Agent development and workflow automation

Agents and multi-agent systems that own an outcome within governed boundaries: planning loops with tools, shared state, policy controls, delegation with escalation paths, evaluation and monitoring.

  • Customer-facing AI

Product-help assistants and conversational interfaces with the transparency and prompt-injection guardrails the EU AI Act expects, built on twenty years of ecommerce platform work.

  • Support and ticket-triage agents

Reads the ticket, classifies it, finds the answer in your product's own code and documentation, drafts the reply, and escalates to a person when its confidence is below the threshold you set. Running in production at Agency51 on around 100 tickets a week.

  • Document and contract intelligence

Clause extraction, obligation tracking and cross-referencing across contracts, regulatory and quality documents, with citations and change monitoring, for legal, procurement and compliance teams.

  • Forecasting and anomaly detection

Demand, spend and cash forecasting from data you already hold, and purchase-order and transaction anomaly detection, as the data-in-hand proofs of value that start most roadmaps.

  • Market and supplier intelligence agents

Agents that monitor the sources you choose, extract competitor, commodity and supplier signals, and compile briefings and battle cards with every claim cited, so the intelligence function reads rather than searches.

  • Data mining and requirements

Experienced engineers who audit what data exists, where it sits and whether it is usable, then turn the findings into specified requirements and the master-data foundations the ambitious use cases depend on.

How a build runs

Scope, evaluate, build, prove, hand over

  • Scope

One to two weeks. The knowledge and systems involved, the workflow the agent sits in, the escalation rules, and the evaluation set we will test against, agreed before any code.

  • Build

Three to eight weeks depending on the framework. The architecture is already proven; the work is connecting it to your data and systems and tuning it against the evaluation set.

  • Prove

A bounded production pilot with real traffic, human review on every escalation, and the numbers reported weekly: resolution rate, escalation rate, response time, cost per interaction.

  • Hand over or run

Your code, your choice: a handover with training and documentation, or a managed service where we monitor, evaluate and improve it.

The questions buyers are told to ask

Straight answers

Who writes the code? Enceladus and PureNet engineers in York, working alongside your team.

Who owns it? You do. No licence, no lock-in to a product that may change its pricing or disappear.

What happens after the prototype? Either a handover with training, or a managed service. Both are priced before the build starts.

How do we know it works? An evaluation set agreed before build, run on every change, with the results shared. An agent that cannot be measured is not ready for production.

What does it cost? Every build is scoped and its price fixed before it starts; a bounded scope to production is priced after a two-week scoping exercise, and larger agentic systems are scoped individually.

Questions

About AI frameworks and builds

Which models do you build on?

We build on Claude, OpenAI and open-weight models and choose on the evidence for each use case: quality on your evaluation set, data terms, cost and latency. The frameworks are model-agnostic by design so a change of model is a configuration change, not a rebuild.

What is confidence-based escalation?

The agent scores how sure it is of its answer, using retrieval quality, classifier agreement and self-checks. Below a threshold you set, it hands the case to a person with its draft and its reasoning attached. The threshold is tuned on the evaluation set and reviewed as the agent learns.

Can it read our code?

Yes. The Agency51 support agent answers customer questions about bespoke BigCommerce builds by reading the codebase as well as the documentation. The same approach works for any product with a repository.

How do you handle our data?

Your data stays in your environment or in enterprise services with no-training terms. We run ISO 27001 certified processes across the group, and we document data flows as part of every scope.

Do you offer a managed service?

Yes. Monitoring, evaluation on every change, model updates, and improvements driven by the escalations the agent makes. Priced monthly and cancellable.
