Look at the website of any AI consultancy and you will find a named framework: a wheel, a roadmap, a set of pillars, four letters in a sequence. Look for the framework itself, the scorecard, the templates, a sample of what it produces, and you will almost never find it. We took the opposite decision. The Converge Methodology is published in full on this site: the five phases, the AI Opportunity Pyramid, the four levels of AI, the four adoption pathways, the convergence scorecard with its ten elements, the data positions, and the findings that recur. Here is why.

A method you can inspect is one you can trust

A leadership team about to commission an AI programme is being asked to trust a process it cannot see, by a firm whose incentives it cannot verify, in a field where the vocabulary changes monthly. Publishing the method changes that. The team can read how ideas are captured, how they are scored, why a straw-man score is offered for the room to correct, how use cases are consolidated, and how a roadmap is sequenced by readiness rather than enthusiasm. If they disagree with a step, they can say so before they buy. If they agree, the first workshop starts with trust already established.

The value is in the running, not the secret

A method is not a trade secret; it is a discipline. Anyone can read that ideas should be captured without judgement and then scored on ten elements. The value is in the facilitation that gets sixty ideas out of a room that would otherwise offer five, the pre-scoring that provokes the argument that calibrates the scores, the consolidation that turns 250 ideas into 27 fundable cases, and the sector research that makes an awareness session land. Publishing the method costs us nothing we were selling and gives clients something they were missing.

It keeps us honest

A published method is a commitment. If the site says every use case gets a data position and an adoption pathway, every use case gets one. If it says the roadmap has a first quarter the business can start on, the roadmap has one. The method is the standard our own work is measured against, by clients who have read it.

It is the same reason we say which use cases to buy

A consultancy that recommends build in every case is selling days. One that recommends buy in every case is selling licences. Publishing a method that assigns a product-led pathway to the use cases the market already serves, and says so in writing, is the only credible way to claim neutrality, and it is why we take no reseller margin.

What is not published

Client specifics. The method is ours and is public; the findings for a particular business are theirs and are confidential. The case studies on this site say what was done and what came of it within what each client has agreed, and nothing more.

Use it

If a business reads the method and runs it themselves, good. The artefacts are there for that. Most find the facilitation and the pre-scoring are what they cannot do from the inside, and come back for those. Either way, the published method is a better starting point than a named one.

The method is at our approach; the engagements that run it are under services.
